2008 Review

Well most of you already know about the biggest event of the year...the new member to our family. Brady Richard Willis. It has been fun adjusting to two kids around the house. Brady has been a great baby. He is pretty easy going and easy to entertain. He has been healthy and is sitting on his own and getting close to crawling at this point.
Tyler turned three this year and just last month he started preschool! Pretty crazy! He is going to a preschool through the Jordan School District because of his delayed speech. A bus comes straight to our house to bring him to and from school, and he has speech therapists work with him during school. He seems to enjoy it, and his teachers say he's doing great. I also think he's doing great! He is full of life and loves everyone. It's really hard not to smile and be entertained when you are around Tyler.
We are now approaching our third year owning the bowling alley. Jared has learned so much and has made a lot of progress. Lot's of improvements have been made, and a lot has been learned. When things go wrong Jared usually knows exactly what to do, so things get done more efficiently. Business has improved each year, so we going in the right direction.
Although very busy running the business, Jared always takes time to be home and spend time with the family. He is such a great father and husband.
I absolutely love being a mom! I am so grateful to have been blessed with two beautiful healthy boys! They remind me what's really important in life. Tyler loves to give hugs. His favorite is the "jump hug." He gets a running start and then right when he gets next to you he jumps up to give you a big hug. Seeing Brady smile and learn is so fun. It's been a fun year, and we are excited to see what the new one brings..

I hope everyone has a wonderful new year!

Okay so I'm at work and it's REALLY slow. It's 2:23 a.m. and I forgot my book, so I am going to attempt a blog entry to keep me awake. Having two boys has been wild. Tyler is so full of life and Brady is growing so fast. He's at the stage shere he's grabbing at everything and trying to eat everything. When I'm trying to read the boys a story it's hard because the whole time Brady is destrated by Tyler and is constantly grabbing at is clothes, hair, hands etc. If he's not grabbing at Tyler--he is grabbing the pages of the book.
I was worryed about how Ty would react to a new "baby" around the house, but he has been a great big brother. This morning I was having a hard time getting up, and finally I woke up to Tyler jumping on me saying "Mama! Brady sad!" "Morning time Mama! Wake up!" I put exclamation points because Tyler is a very dramatic boy. I guess Brady had woke up and was crying in his room. Unlike Ty, Brady is a little more easy going. He doesn't have a very loud cry. Anyways this might be the most boring blog ever written, but that is what popped into my head.

Seattle Trip and more

Tyler is constantly putting on our shoes...

This is Tyler the night we got back from Seattle. I gave him a snack then went to do something--came back a couple minutes later and he had crashed. He played hard in Seattle!

Lately it's not too hard to get this guy to smile. He's been so fun (except at night...)

Brady has been so fun! He's smiling and interacting with us quite a bit now. Tyler has started playing with Brady. He's a great brother. He'll play "peek-a-boo" with Brady or just do crazy things to get him to smile. The picture sequence is a little backward...The top picture is the most recent, so start at the bottom and go up.

Brady Richard Willis was born May 3rd ant 11:20 a.m. He weighed 9 lb 11 oz and was 22 inches long.

The baby is finally coming!!!

Here I am at Jordan Valley Hospital. You can probably tell by the picture I am more than readly to get the baby out! I think this was taken after the epidural, and I was up the whole night before, so I was a little out of it.

Okay so here we are at the beach. Tyler wasn't very cooperative. He loved jumping over the waves and throwing sand.

This was our second day at Disney Land. I was the one taking the picture. I was about 33 weeks pregnant, so I did whatever I could to avoid being in the pictures.

California Vacation

This was our first day at Disney Land. Tyler's favorite this was the "choo choo train." He would have been happy just riding the train all day. This is him on the shuttle bus with Jared's family. He also thought that was a train. Just seeing his face on this ride made my day.
